Wer in einem der Hotels am Chao Phraya wohnt, kann Asiatique zudem bequem per Hotel- oder Linienboot erreichen. Alternativ geht es mit dem BTS Skytrain bis **Saphan Taksin** und anschließend per Shuttle-Boot weiter. So lässt sich der Besuch von Asiatique bereits mit einer kleinen Bootsfahrt auf dem Chao Phraya verbinden. ### Neue Seilbahn über den Chao Phraya Nun soll das Flussufer zu einem internationalen Kultur-, Freizeit- und Erlebniszentrum weiterentwickelt werden. Der Immobilien- und Tourismuskonzern **Asset World Corporation (AWC)** plant dafür umfangreiche Investitionen. Herzstück ist eine spektakuläre **Seilbahn über den Chao Phraya**, die Asiatique mit einem neuen Entwicklungsgebiet auf der gegenüberliegenden Flussseite in Charoen Nakhon verbinden soll. Nach Angaben von AWC soll die energieeffiziente Bahn ohne Stützpfeiler im Fluss auskommen. Das neue Museum wird in Zusammenarbeit mit dem berühmten **Museum of Old and New Art (MONA)** im australischen Hobart entwickelt. Dabei soll es keine Kopie des Originals werden. Mit **„Avatar: Guardians of Eywa“** ist eine multimediale Erlebniswelt rund um James Camerons berühmtes Avatar-Universum geplant.
